About
The Chief Information Officer and Vice President (CIO-VP) at Tunas Negeri Education is responsible for overseeing the institution’s information technology strategy and infrastructure, ensuring that technology aligns with the organization’s goals and enhances operational efficiency. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including managing cybersecurity, digital systems, and technology support services.
The CIO-VP supervises the Cybersecurity Manager, who is tasked with protecting the institution’s data and digital assets by implementing robust security measures, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role is critical in safeguarding sensitive information and maintaining the trust of students, staff, and stakeholders.
In addition, the CIO-VP oversees the Digital Systems and Infrastructure Manager, responsible for the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the institution’s digital systems and IT infrastructure. This includes ensuring that the technology environment is reliable, scalable, and capable of supporting the educational and administrative functions of the organization.
Finally, the CIO-VP leads the Technology Support Manager, who provides technical assistance and support to users, ensuring that technology resources are utilized effectively and efficiently. By integrating these functions, the CIO-VP plays a vital role in fostering innovation, enhancing digital capabilities, and ensuring that Tunas Negeri Education leverages technology to improve teaching, learning, and operational processes.
