The Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President (COO-SVP) at Tunas Negeri Education holds a pivotal leadership role, overseeing the seamless integration of the institution’s core operational and strategic functions. This position is responsible for driving the efficiency and effectiveness of various key departments, including Operations, Public Engagement, Human Resources, Finance, and Technology, ensuring these areas collaborate to meet the institution’s long-term goals.

As a key advisor to the executive leadership, the COO-SVP plays an instrumental role in shaping and executing strategic initiatives that enhance institutional performance. The role includes overseeing day-to-day administration, ensuring legal and policy compliance, optimizing the management of the institution’s facilities and resources, and safeguarding health, safety, and environmental standards. Additionally, the COO-SVP is responsible for advancing the institution’s marketing and communications efforts, building and maintaining partnerships and alumni relations, and promoting social responsibility.

Working closely with the Chief People Officer, the COO-SVP ensures that the institution fosters an inclusive and equitable workplace culture while also focusing on talent acquisition, learning and development, and employee well-being. The financial oversight component includes driving the budgetary planning process, ensuring fiscal responsibility, fundraising, and procurement. With the Chief Information Officer, the COO-SVP ensures that the institution remains technologically advanced, with robust digital systems, cybersecurity measures, and technology support services.

In this multifaceted role, the COO-SVP serves as the operational backbone of Tunas Negeri Education, ensuring that all areas of the institution work in harmony to achieve educational excellence and long-term sustainability.
